NASA Video Of The Sun’s Solar Flare Activity
The Sun has always produced some of the most interesting displays when it comes to astronomy. Solar flare activity so violent that it left scars on the surface of the sun on September 29-30. This Solar Flare saw charged particles race across the Sun at an impressive 3 million kilometers per hour. The Sun has been quiet, in activity during its peak time for at least the last 11 years, so this is a bit of a shock to astronomers.
The NASA observatory had to combine two separate wavelengths to capture this footage in great detail. NASA has named this solar flare activity as the “Canyon Of Fire”, and it does look like one. See for yourself.
